Rooted in the multi-sensorial, interdisciplinary program of The Feuerle Collection, the series invited audiences to engage cinema not only as a visual medium, but as a total aesthetic experience \u2014 accompanied by conceptual tea pairings and the sensual breeze of a summer night.<\/p>\n<p>This final edition, titled<strong> <em>Forbidden Love<\/em><\/strong>, explores desire, identity, and social boundaries through cinema and embodied experience \u2014 where moving images, bodies, and rituals converge.<\/p>\n<p>Each evening offers a carefully composed arc: a live performance opens the night, followed by curated films and conceptual tea, and finally a shared celebration through sound, taste, and dance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FRIDAY, 6 JUNE, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>20:00 \u2013 20:30<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Performance: <em>Whispers of Water and Spring<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nBerlin-based composer and Erhu player <strong>Temple Rat (\u6885\u90c1\u946b)<\/strong> presents a meditative live set composed of Erhu, modular synths, and field recordings. Drawing on Taoist philosophy and Tang poetry, the performance unfolds as an ambient ritual \u2014 tracing the cyclical movement of water, memory, and time.<\/p>\n<p>Fusing traditional Chinese instruments with contemporary sonic languages, Temple Rat creates immersive soundscapes that dissolve boundaries between past and present, ritual and rave. Each blend offers an ephemeral reflection \u2014 a sensory dialogue that deepens the audience\u2019s cinematic immersion.<\/p>\n<p>Lin Wang is a Chinese tea practitioner who transforms spaces through the art of tea. She hosts tea ceremonies, creates immersive experiences for cultural events and global brands, collaborating with artists across disciplines.
